Education & Compliance Committee
* The Committee facilitates compliance by serving as an informational and advisory resource to the automotive remarketing industry
* The Committee extends the presence of the compliance function beyond IARA to automotive finance companies, repo agencies including forwarders, and auto auctions.
* The Committee endeavors to promote the benefits of Compliance initiatives throughout the Used Vehicle Market Supply Chain.
* The Committee endeavors to facilitate the communication process involving Compliance information.

* The Education Committee oversees the content, execution and online functionality of the CAR Certification program.

- To provide information about the Certification Program
- To provide feedback on testing results
- To review the course curriculum on a continuing basis
- To recognize Certified Automotive Remarketers CAR, in industry publications and present Certification Plaques at industry conferences
- To recertify CAR designees after each Certification period

Mission Statement

The mission of the IARA remarketing Certification Committee is to provide the opportunity for those in the industry to achieve a higher level of industry recognition through a comprehensive program encompassing all aspects of the remarketing industry.

- To establish the IARA certification program as the educational standard of excellence in remarketing
- To establish authoritative sources of remarketing information
